Pullman Transit
Temporary Change of Frequency on Community Fixed Routes
To address reported traffic delays in the downtown area caused by the ongoing construction project and detours, adjustments will be made to the fixed route loops. These are Blue Route, Loop Route, Silver Route, and Paradise Route. Beginning Monday, April 29th, 2024, trips starting at 9:25 AM at the Transfer Station will be extended to 40 minutes in duration, up from the current 35 minutes. Trips starting before 9:25 AM at the Transfer Station will maintain their current 35-minute duration. Please check out our Routes and Schedules webpage for complete timetables for these routes.
Main Street closed to all traffic effective April 2, 2024
The Loop Route will be the only route affected by this closure. The bus stop at Pine Street Mall will be relocated to the U.S. Bank on Paradise Street. Please be aware that Paradise Street will accommodate two-way traffic during this construction project.

Summer Service starts May 5, 2024
Effective May 5, 2024, Pullman Transit will transition to Community Service for the summer 2024. Loop, Silver, Blue, and Paradise are NOT affected. ApartmentLand Express and Campus will NOT be running. Instead, one longer Community Service Express will operate from 6:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays. There will be no evening service. On weekends and holiday, Wheat and Lentil will operate from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Spokane & College Bus Stop Closed Effective May 6, 2024
Starting Monday, May 6th, 2024, the bus stop at Spokane & College will be closed. This will impact the Blue Route and the Community Service Express. Due to forthcoming construction on the parking lot, the bus stop and sidewalk will be fenced off. Our routes will continue along Spokane Street and will bypass this bus stop. Patrons may choose to use either the Spokane & Washington or Honors Hall bus stops instead.
- Clay Court bus stop deactivated: effective August 21, 2023, the bus stop at Clay Court is deactivated. Please take the Blue from Dillon and Terre View (about 520 feet due south).
- Rider App now lets users "tap on stop": tapping on a stop will now take users directly to that stop's information page, which includes arrival predictions for vehicles servicing that stop.

- Easy-to-use instructions are located on the bike rack.
- Riders are expected to load and unload their own bikes, but ask your driver for assistance if needed.
- Remove all loose items before placing your bike in the rack.
- Load your bike from the CURB side of the bus.
- When possible, choose a seat where you can see your bike.
- Don't forget your bike after you get off the bus!
- Please let the driver know as you exit that you will be removing your bike.
- Pullman Transit drivers may allow bicycles in the passenger compartment when the bike rack is full, space allows, and when doing so will not jeopardize customer safety.
- Pullman Transit recommends placing the bicycle in the mobility device securement area if it is available (although mobility device securements may NOT be used to secure a bike).
- Whether your bicycle is placed in the mobility securement device area or another area of the bus, bicyclists must physically hang onto the bike to ensure its securement throughout their trip.
- Bicyclists are expected to bring the bicycle on/off the bus using the front door.
- Look for your neighborhood bus stop. There are stops in every neighborhood, downtown and on WSU campus. The information on the bus stop sign will let you know when your bus should arrive and what direction it will be traveling. We encourage all riders to be at their bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival.
- Make sure we don't pass you by. Every now and then a rider gets left behind because the driver did not see them. Here are some tips to help you get noticed.
- Stand visibly at the stop.
- Face the bus and nod your head "yes" or wave to the driver.
- Step forward when the bus is about 1/2 block away.
- If you are in a shelter, walk to the stop as the bus approaches.
- Respect the rights of other riders. We encourage everyone to ride the bus but everyone must respect the rights of other customers.

“Simple justice requires that public funds to which all taxpayers of all races {colors, and national origins} contribute, not be spent in any fashion which encourages, entrenches, subsidizes, or results in racial {color or national origin} discrimination."
If a recipient of federal assistance is found to have discriminated and the assistance should either initiate fund termination proceedings or refer the matter to the Department of Justice for appropriate legal action. Aggrieved individuals may file administration complaints with the federal agency that provides funds to a recipient, or the individuals may file suit for appropriate relief in federal court. Title VI itself prohibits intentional discrimination. However, most funding agencies have regulations implementing Title VI that prohibit recipient practices that have the effect of discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin.
